THE BOSTON BOPPERS: Did you get what you wanted
Eddie Seago is one of those people who knows the two ingredients necessary to make a hit. With Ron Roker, he wrote this track. The next step was to find the right artist - “The Boston Boppers”. The path led to Larry Page of Penny Farthing in London and their first record was released under that label.
On this recording, note the pronounced rhythm and the somewhat unusual way of singing with a slightly erotic touch, similar to Roxy Music.
